The City of Sunbury is requesting proposals from qualified firms with experience in land use and form-based planning, community visioning and stakeholder engagement, design standards development, transportation and infrastructure planning, market analysis research, and economic development principles to create a plan for guiding future development along and near the proposed Sunbury Parkway (“Parkway”). This new transportation corridor will essentially link development east and west of a proposed I-71 interchange to the outer edges of Sunbury’s current community center. The impending construction of this new transportation infrastructure is creating the need and opportunity for district level planning.
