[ARCHIVED] Sunbury Parks Master Plan Open House

Flyer Page 2

The Central Ohio region is one of the fastest growing areas in the country. A recent study commissioned by the Big Walnut School District, projects a 46% increase of the student population over the next 10 years. In addition, Delaware County was named in 2019 as the Healthiest County in the State of Ohio and #9 in America based on a recent U.S. News & World Report.

Given the numerous health benefits provided by parks and outdoor recreation and the explosion of growth, now is the time for us to plan for the future of Sunbury’s parks and recreation facilities.

The Sunbury Parks & Recreation Committee, assisted by CT Consultants, is preparing a Parks, Recreation & Open Spaces Master Plan. The Master Plan will serve as a guide for the future growth and development of our local parks system.

Please join us on June 6, 2019 at Town Hall, 51 E. Cherry Street, to share your thoughts, vision, and priorities for Sunbury Parks and Recreation.

The Open House will take place between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm, with a short presentation at 5:15 pm and 6:30 pm
