Sunbury Scout Troop 701

Visiting Sunbury Mayor’s Court on Tuesday, February 4th was Troop 701 from Sunbury.   This was to meet their requirement to visit and discuss with a selected individual approved by their leader (for example, an elected official, judge, attorney, civil servant, principal, or teacher) the constitutional rights and obligations of a US citizen.  Our Magistrate, Michael Moran, an Eagle Scout himself, was more than happy to oblige. Standing from left to right are Boy Scouts Connor Austin, Matthew Irvine, and Cian Salonsky. Second row: Jenna Austin and assistant scoutmasters for Troop 701, Steve Austin and Alaina Salonsky. Seated is Magistrate Moran.   Scouts that also attended but not pictured were Ethan Fraker and Wyatt Gray-Douce.  Meeting his requirement two weeks ago by attending Mayor’s Court was Seth Tluchowski.  Sunbury Mayor’s Court is held every other Tuesday beginning at 5:00 p.m. on the third floor of the Town Hall.
