Chief Howard became Acting Chief of Police for Sunbury in March, 2017. He became permanent chief in June of that year. Prior to joining the force in Sunbury in 2007, he served as Sheriff Deputy of Morrow County and was the Chief of Police for Cardington-both in the State of Ohio.
